Connect Bude

Campaigning to re-connect North Cornwall to the national rail network

AGM 17th October 2026

AGM 17th October 2026

We are pleased to announce that Connect Bude’s AGM will take place on Saturday, 17 October 2026, at the Falcon Hotel, Bude, starting at 10:30am. This is a significant event for all members, supporters, and those interested in the future of transport links in our region. Free tea & coffee from 10.30am and AGM itself will run from 11am to 12pm, and we warmly welcome everyone who wishes to participate, though only fully paid-up members will be eligible to vote.

We cordially invite you to attend the meeting, and have a chance to reflect on our achievements over the past year, with important updates and discussions concerning the campaign for better transport connectivity for Bude and the surrounding areas.

Key highlights of the AGM agenda include:

  • Bus Survey Updates: Sharing the results from our survey and how it affects our lobbying efforts going forward.
  • Kernow Connect: Sharing the proposal now put forward by the area to bring back the rail line.
  • New Aims: Sharing the updates to our aims given where the Kernow Connect proposal now is.

Following the formal proceedings, we will open the floor for questions and, hopefully, welcome new members. Membership sign-ups, including Individual Members (£10), Corporate Members (£20), and Supporters (free), will be available during the meeting or online here. Members who join after 1 October 2026 will not have to renew until 1 January 2028.

The AGM will also include the election of committee members. If you are a member and interested in joining the committee, please complete the attached nomination form by 19 October 2026 or come forward in the meeting.
